The Spartan Medical Research Journal (SMRJ) is a peer-reviewed, Pubmed-indexed, free on-line journal, open to all viewers and submitters with neither access nor submission fees.

Scholarly Activity Services and Resources

Since 2015, our scholarly activity (SA) team has serviced over 520 research and quality improvement projects from affiliated residents, fellows, and faculty. As of October 2022, these project consultations have entailed over 4,500 service hours, averaging nine hours per completed project.
Project Support
The scholarly activities team is pleased to provide research support and resources in the following areas:
  • Project planning and time management
  • Creation of data set/codebook
  • Selection of project measures (survey, chart audit, focus group)
  • Assistance with project challenges
  • Analysis of final project data
