Pediatric Manual Medicine
Prerequisites: Principles of Manual Medicine, Cranial Techniques Part I, and Integrated Neuromuscular & Myofascial Release are recommended.
Goals: 1) To disseminate the rationale and indications of treating common clinical problems in pediatrics using manual medicine; 2) To disseminate the rationale and indications of treating developmental delays using physical therapy and manual therapy.
Objective: The learner will develop the knowledge and palpatory skill necessary to diagnose somatic dysfunction in pediatric patients with symptoms consistent with asthma, latching issues, otitis media, developmental delay, GERD/Colic, torticollis and plagiocephaly.
Credit Hours: 22 CME Credits
