Course Overview

SCS annually hosts a Human Trafficking and Sexual Victimization Conference FOR ALL SPECIALTIES.  Attendees will learn about physicians’ unique challenges in identifying and treating people at risk for human trafficking. Participants will hear from several experts about recognizing signs and symptoms of patients seeking care that are likely being trafficked. Physician reporting responsibilities and legal obligations in suspected cases of sex trafficking will be highlighted. Certificates of participation will be awarded.
