MSUCOM Summer Symposium

Description and Objectives

As the breadth and scope of medical knowledge required for competent medical practice grows on a yearly basis, it becomes imperative for the clinician to have a broad fund of knowledge applicable to large groups of patients seen in the primary care setting. This symposium will focus on topics relevant to the primary care physician (regardless of discipline) and include updates on specific populations.

Target Audience

Physicians, physician assistants, nurses, nurse practitioners, fellows, residents, and students interested in family medicine.

Accreditation Statements

Osteopathic Continuing Medical Education College of Osteopathic Medicine

The Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine (MSUCOM) is accredited by the American Osteopathic Association to sponsor continuing medical education for osteopathic physicians. MSUCOM designates this program for a maximum of 15 credits of AOA Category 1-A credits and will report CME and specialty credits commensurate with the extent of the physician’s participation in this activity.

Allopathic Continuing Medical Education

Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine (MSUCOM) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
